The Bratislava New Year’s Concert 2020 embraced the Beauty and the Beast fairytale theme to the delight of entertained attendees.

The second decade of the traditional New Year concerts was successfully launched by Inga Lisa Lehr - the delicate German soprano, Steven LaBrie - the American baritone with a beautiful voice colour and dramatic expression, and Titusz Tobisz - the memorable Slovak tenor. The young violin virtuoso Teo Gertler and the excellent oboist Michal Šintál, together with the Bratislava Metropolitan Choir and the Bratislava Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by Leoš Svárovský, greatly enhanced the 11th year of the Bratislava New Year Concerts, which with its reliable quality confirms its place among key Bratislava cultural traditions.
