Francesco Fortes

He completed his music studies under the guidance of Sabatino Raiu and Gianni Desideri, and continued further studies with Danilo Rigosa and Donato D'Annunzia Lombardi . He also attended master classes organized by Renata Scotto at the National Academy of Saint Cecilia in Rome. As Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème debuted at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, Teatro Verdi in Pisa and Teatro del Giglio in Lucca. As Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly, he performed at the Teatro Pergolesi Spontini in Jesi and in the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara. In 2021 he performed at the Macerata Festival in Aida, and at the Capri Opera Festival in The Comedians.

Francesco has many national and international singing awards. He won second place and a special "Luciano" Pavarotti" prize for best male voice at the 19th annual "Premio Lirico International Umberto Giordano" in Foggia. He won the 7th European Competition for Young Musicians "Luigi Denza "- Castellammare di Stabia, and was a finalist in several international competitions.

In February 2015, he took part in a theatrical tour in Russia with the premiere of D'Alessandro's opera Luisa Sanfelice as Mario Pagano. He also performed as a solo tenor in Puccini's opera Messa di Gloria with conductor Valerio Platanofom at the Opera Theatre in Ufa, Russia. He performs in Italy and abroad. He performed the roles of Calaf in Puccini's Turandot in the Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza, Radames in Verdi's Aida at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Alfredo Germont in La Traviata, Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto in Auditorio Umberto Zanotti Bianco in Reggio Calabria, Dona Flaminia del Sole in Cimarosova La Finta Parigina, as well as Turiddu in Mascagni’s Peasant Honor at Trianon Theatre in Naples.
