Inga Lisa Lehr

German soprano Inga Lisa Lehr is a promising representative of the young generation of top singers. Since the 2010/11 season, she has been a member of the Hof Theatre, where she has performed several important roles, such as Liu in Puccini's "Turandot" and Gabriela in Offenbach's "Life in Paris", Gretel in Humperdinck's opera "John and Mary", Pani in Poulenc's "The Voice of the People" and Mi in Lehár's "Land of Smiles". As a guest at the Baden Theatre, she will perform Pamina in Mozart's "The Magic Flute". She has also performed in many other leading operas, operettas and musicals.

After studying at the Würzburg University of Music, Inga continued her studies at the Vienna Academy of Music. She completed her education in the master class with Prof. Mitsuko Shirai and Prof. Hartmut Höll at the Karlsruhe University of Music. She received further important inputs from figures such as Helen Donath, Prof. Thomas Quasthoff, Brigitte Fassbaender and Cheryl Studer. Since 2012, she has continued her studies with Prof. Robert Gambill.

Her long list of competitive achievements is crowned by the 2015 Theatre Prize, as well as the Special Prize of the Deutsche Oper Berlin for the most convincing stage presentation in musical theatre in opera and operetta, in conjunction with the 3rd prize at the Federal Singing Competition Berlin and the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna. In January 2010, she was invited to guest perform at a concert by the German Radio Philharmonic in Konstanz, which was broadcast on television as "Opera Gala - Stars of Tomorrow".

Inga has also made a name for herself in concert singing, performing works by Brahms, Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Mozart and Poulenc. As a soloist, she has performed with the German Radio Philharmonic, the New Philharmonic Westfalen, the Hof Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra in Prague.
