Zuzana Andelová

She graduated from the Eva Jaczová Dance Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in classical dance, concert and stage practice, classical dance pedagogy and ballet choreography under the guidance of the best teachers. While studying at TKEJ, she was a finalist at the International Competition Brno 2009. She won first place at the national competition Nádej balletu 2010.

She performed in several ballet and opera performances of the Slovak National Theatre: Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Swan Lake, Corsair, Martin and the Sun, The Mysterious Key, and Nabucco.

In 2012, she performed in Vienna as part of the Dance Days Vienna project, and in 2013, she represented the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague at the Evening of Choreographies.

She was involved in choreography in the projects Grieg day, Norwegian day, the dance film Strom, Epoché – Psalms in Dance, Guitar festival, etc.

She currently works in the ballet of Banská Bystrica State Opera, where she has already had two title roles: Carmen in the dance performance "Carmen" and the title role of Mária in "Silent Faces" choreographed and directed by Dana Dinková.

She created the dance choreographies for the 2017 Christmas Concert at Banská Bystrica State Opera.

She teaches classical dance and artistic and stage practice at the Ján Levoslav Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica.
