He studied flute at the Conservatory and Academy of Music in Bratislava and at the École Normale de Musique-Conservatoire M. Dupré in Paris. He further improved his skills with A. Nicolet, A. Adorjan, M. Kofler and V. Brunner.
At the age of seventeen, he became the first flutist of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and has been a member of the Slovak Philharmonic since 1991. He also works as a solo flutist with the Slovak National Theatre Opera.
As a soloist, he performed with the Slovak Philharmonic, Hilaris Chamber Orchestra, Slovak Chamber Orchestra, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, Žilina State Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Soloists Bratislava, Moyzes Quartet, Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, Solistes Européens Luxembourg and the Schengen Chamber Orchestra.
He has often performed in the USA, where he participated in the National Flute Convention in Atlanta and concerts in Dallas thanks to the Myrna Brown Award. He has performed several times at the University of Louisiana, where he also led master classes with Michel Debost. He has also led international interpretation courses in Slovakia (Piešťany, Bratislava).
He is a member of the Kontrapunkte Ensemble Wien, with which he regularly performs at the Musikverein Wien. He also performs in the Slovak Wind Quintet. He has guested in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy and Austria. He has also performed as a member of symphony orchestras in the Czech Republic, Austria, Ireland, Great Britain and Luxembourg. He has made numerous recordings for the Austrian Radio ORF, Slovak Television, Slovak Radio and Czech Radio. As a member and soloist of the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, he has recorded a number of internationally awarded film scores.
