Brigitte Hool

This versatile Swiss artist, originally from Neuchâtel, graduated with honours in art history and journalism from the University of Neuchâtel. After studying the cello, she also graduated from the Neuchâtel Conservatory in singing with Yves Senn. She was subsequently guided to perfection in singing by Grace Bumbry and Mirella Freni.

The leading Swiss soprano has sung in many major opera houses in recent years, such as La Scala in Milan, the Opéra-Comique in Paris, and the operas of Toulouse, Lyon, Lausanne, Nice and Tours. Concert tours have also taken her to countries such as Japan and Brazil.

Her repertoire includes many characters from classical opera and operetta literature. She is the recipient of many awards. She also has a diploma as a yoga teacher.
