Pavol Bršlík

Tenor Pavol Bršlík is one of the most prominent representatives of the young singing generation on the international opera scene today. In 2005, he was awarded the "Singing Talent of the Year" by the prestigious German magazine Opernwelt. He is the winner of the M. Schneider-Trnavský and Antonín Dvořák International Competitions.

He studied at the Academy of Music in Bratislava, at the CNIPAL opera studio in Marseille and took several courses with leading singers (Ivonne Minton, Mady Mesplé, Peter Dvorský, William Matteuzzi). Since the 2003/2004 season, he has been a soloist in one of the leading European opera stages – Berlin State Opera. In addition, the young tenor has also appeared at the famous Glyndebourne Festival, the Royal Opera in Brussels, the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris, the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Royal Opera in London, the Monte Carlo Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, the Zurich Opera House, and other prestigious world opera stages.

He often collaborates with the greatest coloratura soprano of our time, Edita Grúberová. Pavol Bršlík is also a sought-after concert artist. With top orchestras and led by the greatest conductors of our time, such as Colin Davis, Riccardo Muti and Kurt Masur, he has performed in London, Paris, Edinburgh, Dresden and many other cities.
