Kim Soo Yeon

Soprano Soo Yeon Kim is from Korea. She studied at the Juilliard School and Indiana University in the United States. She has performed with many world-class artists in concerts and opera productions. She has performed at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Centre in New York, Carnegie Hall, Smetana Hall in Prague in the Czech Republic, Seoul Arts Centre, and many other prestigious stages. Her roles include Santuzza, Violetta and Donna Anna. Her repertoire also includes Verdi's La Forza di Destino and Ch. W. Gluck's Armida. This spring she performed in the world premiere of PQ Phan's opera The Tale of Lady Thi Kinh in the United States. Her other operatic roles include Gilda, Juliet and Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème.
